The CPFA, in its capacity as a member of the Nagoya International Association (NIA), recently participated in the 2010 Collabo Festa held in Oasis 21 in Sakae.
It was a two day event, held October 23 and 24. On October 23, the NIA booth introduced bamboo dancing, and also gave participants the chance to wear Philippine traditional clothes. On October 24, the booth featured Yabuno-sensei's sketches, and participants could get their pictures drawn for free.
The CPFA has always encouraged volunteer activities among its members, and it was happy to note that many students, and teachers participated in the event. There were also people from different areas in society, aside from teachers and students, there were also volunteers from who were regular employees, retired professionals, and housewives.
It was a weekend filled with performances, games and informative presentations.
Everyone had a good time.
